Candles and Orchids at the Parthenon

Katie had a beautiful wedding at Christ the King.  Below is a picture of her bouquet full of cream roses, orchids, freesia, and green berries.  She wanted a very fresh, chic, and clean look.

Her bridesmaids carried a smaller version of the bride's bouquet.

This sweet halo was worn by the little flower girl.  These are one of my favorite things to make!

Here are the altar arrangements we made for the church.

The reception was held at the Parthenon.  Here is the grand entrance: an urn and pedestal to mimic the Parthenon's architecture with sprays of white dendrobium orchids and long branches coming out of the top.

Here is a closer look at one of the two entry arrangements.

After guests arrived at the Parthenon, they could sign the guest book for the bride and groom.

Their beautiful cake was made by Billie Mochow of Burns, TN.

Here is the throw bouquet that has a mix of all of the wedding flowers.

The high top tables had a cylinder with a submerged orchid and a floating candle.  I love the way the white orchid pops off of the poppy red cloth.

A party in Nashville is not the same without some beautiful lounge furniture.

Here is a look at the focal arrangement in the Athena room at the Parthenon.  There were candles and glass underneath with collections of cylinders with submerged orchids and floating candles on top.  And of course, in the center stood a giant cylinder with a mass of various orchids and lilies.

We had trees with floating candles in the corners to add to the ambiance in the room.

The seated dinner took place in a clear tent just outside of the giant Parthenon doors.

I love the combination of the elegant draping, chandeliers, and glass.

We had so much fun putting this look together for the bride and groom! The room was simply stunning and just got better as the sun went down.  Here is a look at the tent from across the lawn.  Now that looks like somewhere I would like to be...so beautiful!
