A White and Navy Winter Wedding

Sarah and Michael were married at West End United Methodist Church in early January.  Their beautiful wedding was coordinated by the amazing team at Firefly Events.  Below you will see some great photographs that were captured by Nyk + Cali Wedding Photography.  Thanks Nyk and Cali for sharing your stunning images with us!

Most of the pictures that we show are of the flowers, but I had to share this great shot of the bride glowing on her wedding day! You would never know that she was feeling under the weather.

Sarah chose all white flowers for her winter wedding. Her bouquet was full of fluffy flowers: peonies, ranunculus, and spray roses. We also added stephanotis to her bouquet to mimic the men's boutonnieres.

The party followed at the War Memorial Auditorium where guests found branches, mounds of baby's breath, and a gorgeous chandelier that was provided by Visual Elements.

This stunning cake was baked and decorated by one of our favorites - Juanita at Dulce Desserts.

I love this new trend in weddings - a live artist painting the reception during the party.  What a fun thing for guests to observe and what a memorable keepsake from your wedding!!

Congratulations Sarah and Michael!

A Wedding in Reds, Purples, and Golds

Dory was married at St. George's Episcopal Church and had her reception at the Hermitage Hotel.  She chose a cascading bouquet in creams for herself and a tighter bouquet of cream roses, spray roses, stock, berries, and lavender for her bridesmaids.

The flower girl carried a small nosegay of purple stock and wore a halo that matched her bouquet.

Now for pictures of the Hermitage Hotel! Notice the gold accents throughout.

Congratulations Dory!  You were a beautiful bride and a joy to work with!

Winter Whites and Candlelight

Jeni and Chase were married at the Hillsboro Church of Christ this past winter. Take a look at the bridesmaid bouquet and boutonnieres.  Jeni wanted lots of candle light with winter whites and grays.

Guests were lead to the reception doors at the Loveless Barn by following the glowing luminaries.

 Congratulations Jeni and Chase!
