Vanderbilt Commencement

The next two pictures show the photo area that we created for Vanderbilt University's Commencement.  The beautiful furniture and draping was provided by Visual Elements.

Here is a picture of Jim in action!

The breakfast spread looked delicious!

We had a small arrangement on each dessert table with more of the hot colors that the client wanted.

Here is the favorite!  This centerpiece was put up for the lunch following graduation.  We lifted the flowers onto a giant ice sculpture.  The base is hand carved ice.  It was breathtaking!

Here is the crew that made it happen!!

A Garden Party

Here are some of the arrangements that Jim and I created for a garden party.  I have to say that these are some of my favorite arrangements that we have done.  I love the big peonies and the white saponaria.  We also have tulips, viburnum, and geranium in this arrangement.

The next two arrangements were created by the woman throwing the party.  I loved them so much that I had to share them with everyone!

I love the simplicity of a green and white arrangement.  This arrangement was made using snapdragons, viburnum, saponaria, and geranium.

I love this piece!! If you can't tell already, birds are part of the theme of this party.

Each table setting had a small flower placed in the napkin holder.  This was a beautiful way to bring a pop of color to the plate.

These arrangements were made with peonies, geranium, tulips, saponaria, viburnum, rose finess, white hydrangea, and variegated pitt.

Cheekwood Purples

A Springtime wedding at Cheekwood is bound to be beautiful!  The bride chose purples, greens, and creams as her colors.  Here is a picture of the beautiful wreath that was attached to columns at the entrance.

This urn already exists inside the Cheekwood mansion.  A perfect place for flowers!

Her centerpieces were made of Lilac, Rose Cool Water, Rose Vendela, Garden Rose Patience,White Hydrangea, Lisianthus, Rose Polo, Salal, and Variegated Pitt.

Here is a zoomed out picture of the tent.  I love the simple draping that covers the poles and the green linens with the pop of purple and white flowers.

Purples, Greens, and Creams

Unloading at the beautiful Covenant Presbyterian Church is always a long walk, but it is definitely worth it.

The bride, Susan, chose purples, greens, and creams for her colors.  Here are the personal flowers for her wedding.  Lilac is her favorite flower.  We were so fortunate to have them available on her wedding day.

The boutonniere was made with freesia and variegated pitt.

The corsage was a single gardenia that rested on ivory ribbons.  It smelled wonderful!

This small arrangement marked where the guest book would be.

Here is a look at the inside of the beautiful church.

Some brides want a simple white in the church, but Susan wanted something fun with color.
