Sunset Safari at the Zoo

Jim and I were thrilled to be able to work with the Nashville Zoo for their Sunset Safari fundraiser again this year!  We designed the decor for the Patron's Party that was chaired by Michelle Roberson and Mary Wilson.  Keep scrolling for pictures of this year's fun jungle party!

We dressed the restrooms up in true jungle style.

We love using bamboo!

Patrons had a special party during the night where they were treated to delicious treats made by Chef Chuck White and Chef David Miller. They also had fancy bistro tables where they could set their glasses.

Drumroll please.... (for the unveiling of this photo!) I LOVE this tree from Visual Elements. We dressed up the iron base with flowers, greens, and branches.  We also suspended lanterns and hanging votives from the tree's outstretched arms.  I wish I had a picture of this room at night!

The party continued outside to more high boys, lounge seating, and of course - a bar!

Patrons could stand at this overlook to watch the band playing below.

Another perk to being a patron is that you can come here and have your photo taken with some of the animals at the zoo!

Late Summer Zinnias

Fall is approaching quickly and football season has begun.  Jim and I love to provide the flowers for parties during this time of year.  We even mess around with a little bit of planting.  I think that the zinnias and ivies turned out beautifully in the urns at the front of the house.

For the dining room table, Jim hand made a rustic wood box to custom fit the table.  For the arrangement we used a mix of fall flowers that would dry beautifully and keep for the fall season.

We love to use various colors of zinnias with other elements that add a lot of texture.

Summer Dinner Party

Jim is the Chairman of the Board at Daystar Counseling Ministries.  Here are some pictures of the flowers at the board retreat in August.

Here is a picture of all of the lovely board members.  Thanks for all that you do for Daystar!
