Ivory Elegance

Emily's bouquet full of ivory roses, spray roses, freesia, and her favorite - gardenias!

I loved her bouquet so much that I wanted to show you two pictures of it!  The gardenias smelled unbelievable next to the cream garden roses.

Emily's bridesmaids carried a smaller version of her bouquet tied up in a bow with a champagne ribbon.

Emily's groom wore a boutonniere of cream spray roses.

The mother of the bride and the mother of the groom carried these small tussie-mussies of cream roses and freesia.  Their small bouquets were also tied up in a bow with champagne ribbon.

The grandmothers wore a pinned gardenia corsage.

The ceremony was at the beautiful Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Each sconce on the front of the church held a sweet wreath of baby's breath.

When you first entered the church, you were greeted with a beautiful guest book arrangement on a champagne pin-tuck tablecloth.

Here is a look down the aisle inside of this beautiful church.

Every third pew was marked with a small swag of flowers tied on with a champagne ribbon in a bow.

I wish that I had a picture of the church with all of these candles lit!  The mother of the bride said that it was breath-taking...

The reception was held at the Hermitage Hotel downtown.

We adorned the center railing with greens and tufts of white hydrangea.

After guests walked up the stairs into the lobby of the hotel, they would be greeted with the table below which displayed the guest book, chocolates, lavender, and of course a beautiful arrangement.

Guests could write wedding wishes to the bride and groom here and later pick up some petals to send them on their way as newlyweds.

I love how elegant and simple this cake is - simply stunning!

Here is the view of the Veranda from the hotel lobby.

The following several pictures are all taken in the Veranda.

The ballroom looked beautiful as well!  This is where all of the dancing happened that night (and I hear there was a lot of it!).

Is was a beautiful night for a beautiful couple - congratulations Emily and Bailey!

Whites and Candles at Belle Meade Country Club

Bailey and Emily's rehearsal dinner was held at the Belle Meade Country Club.  The mother of the groom had the best idea of putting out two topiaries to frame the steps.  They looked even better at night!  We put lights in each of the topiaries as well as the garland across the railing at the top of the steps.

We placed a collection of mercury glass and pillar candles along the entry mantle.

All of the name cards were placed around this arrangement.

I love Belle Meade's ballroom!

We placed a small swag on the bride and groom's chair.

I just had to show you the beautiful menu cards!

We had two looks on the tables: a tall and a short.

The ballroom mantle looked beautiful with mounds of hydrangeas at different heights and candlelight.

Summer Engagement Party

Jim and I love to use a client's own containers when arranging flowers in their house.  I love all of the containers that we were able to use to create a dressed up look for a summer engagement party.

We used various shades of pinks and creams with a hint of green hydrangea.  I love how open all of the roses and dahlias are.

A great sophisticated and clean look is a mound of hydrangeas in a glass bowl.

We also had to add a small arrangement to accent the coffee table.

Creams and Pears

Caitlin carried a bouquet full of cream roses and green Hypericum Berries.

The groom wore a boutonniere made of spray roses and variegated pittosporum.

The ceremony took place at the beautiful Church of the Assumption in Germantown.

We hung a sweet wreath made of roses and hydrangeas on each of the outside doors.

The reception was held at the Hutton Hotel downtown.

Under the cake, we placed an array of pears, cream roses, and blue hydrangea.  The only thing missing in this picture is the cake!

Each high boy had a small pear carved out with some spray roses and berries arranged inside.

One of the table arrangements was a collection of cylinders with submerged tulips and floating candles.

Another table had a collection of bubble glass containers with candles and white tulips.

This table arrangement was arranged in a glass cylinder with green and cream flowers.

The final look at the Hutton was a mercury glass bowl full of blue hydrangeas.
