Blues, Yellows, and Creams

Mary Julia was married at West End United Methodist Church.  I love the stained glass windows at this church!  Isn't it beautiful?

Her bouquet was made of full open roses, spray roses, freesia, and stephanotis.

The bridesmaids all carried bouquets of blue hydrangeas.

The reception was held at Hillwood Country Club.

We brought in some yellow flowers at the reception.

We decorated the back of the bride and groom's chairs with flowers and ribbon.

The beautiful wedding cake was made by the talented Billie Mochow.  It smelled even better than it looks!

A Wedding in Pinks and Greens

Caroline's bouquet was full of large open roses, peonies, and hydrangeas.

The bride's bouquet was tied with lace from her mother's wedding gown.

The bridesmaids carried a smaller version of the bride's bouquet.

Below is a collection of the flowers for the mothers, grandmothers, and men in the wedding.

The ceremony took place inside of the beautiful First Presbyterian Church.

The reception was held at Travellers Rest Plantation.  The bride's mother also had her wedding reception at Travellers Rest years ago!  Guests entered the grounds by walking under our arbor that was decorated with flowers, greens, and twinkle lights.

The reception flowers were a continuation of the pinks, greens, and creams that you saw at the ceremony.

We made a mossed "P" for behind the cake.  The "P" stands for the bride's new married name - Pickens!

Each of the centerpieces were a collection of silver and mercury glass containers.

Stephanie Alexander at You're Invited did a fabulous job coordinating this wedding and reception. Congratulations Caroline and Chris!

Modern Yellows

Vanderbilt's Canby Robinson Society Dinner called for a modern look.  We used sleek white glass containers with a pop of orange and yellow tulips and orchids.

This is one of our newest containers, and it was just perfect for this occasion!

Purple Purple

Jennifer's favorite color, as you will soon see, is purple of all shades.  Below is her bouquet that looked beautiful against her white gown.

Her bridesmaids all wore purple and carried a sweet bouquet of white flowers.

Jennifer's groom wore purple freesia while all of the other men wore white.

The ceremony was in front of the pond at Fellowship Bible Church.  We set up our arbor draped in chiffon in between two trees, and of course decorated it with lots of purple flowers.

The reception took place inside of Fellowship's worship center.  The draping by Visual Elements really transformed the space!

Some of the tables had a floating candle collection with submerged dendrobium orchids.

Other tables had a low arrangement of purples in a square glass container.

Our favorite arrangement of the night were each of the tall arrangements shown below.

The focal piece of the room was definitely this beautiful chandelier provided by Visual Elements.

The head table had a collection of all of the different looks in the room.

Hydrangeas on a Farm

Emily was married in a barn surrounded by a beautiful landscape of trees and hills.  We decorated the arbor with vines, greens, and of course - Hydrangeas!

I love using our barn doors at weddings!  They looked beautiful outside of the barn.

Shepherd hooks with kissing balls marked every other pew down the aisle.

Here is a close up of the beautiful arbor.

Vanderbilt Commencement

Vanderbilt's Commencement for the Peabody College featured the massive "Tree of Knowledge" from Visual Elements.  We covered the tree in branches and suspended colorful daisy balls from the limbs.

We decorated the photo area with lush plants and flowers to resemble a garden.  This area is always a hit with graduates and makes a beautiful picture.

I loved these mortarboards and tassels with a Peabody diploma scroll!

Congratulations 2012 Graduates!
